Public Consultation Evening: The 'Wyeside Works' Project
Book Online See All Events
We have been busy working on a feasibility study to help plan the future direction of our organisation. The ‘Wyeside Works’ Project has been working with business and design consultants to assess our business activity, as well as the physical structure of our building, to find ways to increase our offer to the community and become more sustainable.
We have been looking to identify innovative ways to improve facilities for the arts, introduce an additional cinema, expand our catering and bar facilities, develop our public spaces, and introduce better access throughout the building.
We are now ready to reveal our ideas to the public. Come along to Wyeside on Wednesday the 19th to see the plans, listen to a presentation by Lead Architect Angus Morrogh-Ryan, from De Matos Ryan, and learn about the processes which lead to these proposals.
This is the first of our Public Consultations, and we are keen to get your feedback.
Aren’t able to come? Don’t worry, the plans will stay on display in our Gallery until the 9th of October and you will be able to submit a feedback form at any time during that period.
The feasibility study is being funded by LEADER through the Welsh Government Rural Communities - Rural Development Programme 2014-2020, which is funded by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development and the Welsh Government. The project is also being funded by the Arts Council of Wales.
