Wales’ oldest professional chamber orchestra, the Welsh Chamber Orchestra are delighted to return to Wyeside with Mozart’s dramatic final symphony no.41 ‘Jupiter’, Haydn’s Oxford’ Symphony no.92 and Sarah Frances Jenkins’ new commission ‘Landscapes of Wales’.

Conducted by the orchestra’s founder and Artistic Director Anthony Hose, this concert is part of WCO’s 40th Anniversary Tour of Wales.

Seeking a temporary escape from personal and professional turmoil, Ulysses (an unassuming substitute sheriff) instead finds himself drawn into a crisis when a botched bank robbery exposes a dangerous secret beneath the town's calm exterior.

As tensions escalate (and boy, do they escalate), he is forced to confront his troubled past and the true nature of the community he has been tasked with protecting.

Madfabulous is inspired by Henry Paget, 5th Marquis of Anglesey, who smashed society's notions of class, gender and decorum, squandering a multimillion fortune before his untimely death.
